Glenda Wallace~ a native of Mississippi, has always shared
a passion for reading and writing. As a small child, during summer
vacation while all of her friends were out having fun and "being
kids," she could be found in her room reading and writing. She was
often scolded by her mother to "go outside and play."
"Words have always fascinated me. I would write short stories, poetry,
and even lyrics to songs. My dream as a child was to be a singer
and write the lyrics to my own songs. I began keeping a journal
when I was eight-years old."
After graduating from high school, Glenda joined the Army, where
she served her country stateside as well as abroad. After leaving
the Army she returned to the states to "join the work force." She
has worked in many fields from retail management, customer service,
and as a real estate sales agent. She settled into a career in the
gaming industry as a table games dealer in the late '90s. Yet her
passion for writing never declined. In 2002 she began to diligently
work on her first book. I Need Therapy, which started out
as a journal. I Need Therapy came about as a result of living
and observing the ISSUES of everyday life, dealing with men, love,
and relationships.
Glenda Wallace is currently single and resides on the Mississippi
Gulf Coast where she is working on her second book.
